                                Negro Grace

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
                                                                I hereby Certify
that the bearer hereof Negro Grace five feet three inches
high about twenty six years of age of a yellow complexion
became free on the twenty sixth day of February in the
year Eighteen hundred and six in virtue of a deed of
Manumission made by Richard Dallam of said
negro Grace was raised in the county aforesaid
and has a scar on each arm & another [illegible]
a little above the ball of her thumb on the left
hand      In Testimony whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and affixed the seal of my office
this sixth day of June in the year Eighteen hundred
and seven                           Henry Dorsey clk

                               Negro Rachel

State of Maryland  Harford County to wit
                                                                   I hereby
Certify that the bearer hereof negro Rachel five feet
three inches and a quarter of an inch high about eighteen ^twenty^
years of age of a ^very^ black complexion became free on
the twenty sixth day of February in the year seventeen
hundred and eighty seven in virtue of a deed of
Manumission made by Richard Dallam of said
County & duly executed and recorded.  The said negro
Rachel was raised in the County aforesaid and has
a small scar on the back of her right hand
    In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and affixed the seal of my office this sixth day of
June in the year Eighteen hundred and seven
