             In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name
[Seal]    and affixed the seal of my office this 29.th day of
             March 1842                           Tho C Earle Reg Wills
                                                                for Queen Anns County
                                                                            Maryland


Queen Anns County to wit
       I do hereby certify that a certain Negro man named Emory
aged about thirty Three years five feet Eleven Inches and a half
in height dark complexion has a scar on his right arm very spare
was manumitted and set free by the last will and Testament of a
certain John Eareckson dated on the twelfth day of January
Eighteen hundred and nineteen and admitted to probat in my
office May the tenth Eighteen hundred and twenty one the
said Emory to be free at the age of Twenty nine his person
identified by the evidence of a certain Benjamin W Eareckson
             In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name
[seal]    and affixed the seal of my office this fifth day
             of May Eighteen hundred and forty two

                                                                         Maryland


Queen Anns County Orphans Court
    I do hereby certify that a certain Negro man named William
aged about thirty two years five feet seven and a half Inches in
height dark complexion has a scar on his fright leg from the bite
of a dog was manumitted and set free by the last will and Testament
of a certain William Ridgaway dated on the second day
of May 1814 and admitted to probat in my office June the
twenty first Eighteen hundred and fourteen his freedom to
commence in the year 1841 his person identified by the Oath of
a certain William Airington
                In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name
[seal]        and affixed the seal of my Office this seventh
                day of May 1842         Cert p Tho C Earle Reg Wills
                                                             for Queen Anns County
                                                                            Maryland
