To The Clerk of the Cir Court for Kent County
       I hereby certify that a negro man now present
       and applying for a certificate of freedom named
       Joseph Doman is the Identical negro mentioned
       by me in a deed of manumission recorded in
       Liber J F G page 196 and that he was raised
       in Kent County
       August 9th 1858               S H Knock
             Joseph is 5 ft 9 in high black color 33 years
          Old with a Small scar on the lower part of the
          right arm and on the right cheek bone

To The clerk Clerk of the Circuit Court for Kent County
    I hereby certify that a negro man now present
and applying for a certificate of Freedom named
William Perkins was free Born and Raised in
Kent County about 21 years of age
                                              John Curry Jun
William is 5 feet 10 inches high with a scar on the right
hand and on the right Knee and one on the left foot
of Black Complexion

and applying for a certificate of Freedom Named
Mary Laura Doman was born Free and Raised
in Kent County
Chestertown Augst 19th 1858         John McDaniel

Mary is 5 feet 7 inches high yellow complexion
Scar on the nose & on the left hand and about
24 years Old
Filed Recorded & Certificate issued on this 19th day
of August 1858 by                     Jesse K Hines Clerk
