Cow quarter and further saith that he was to the best of his Memory with Coll.l Whittington Walter Reed and
Benjamin Idolet about twenty years ago at the said post and that they did allow the said post to be the
mouth of Inlet Creek and further where Coll.l Whittington sat up the said post that some time after it washed
up and telling his Father of it it was set up at or very near the said place and further saith not
as Wittness our hands and seals the day and year abovesaid

Baltemore &.c  To John Scott Francis Allen John Lane and John Sheldon all of
Somerset County Gen.t Greeting know ye that we have appointed you or any                                                                                
    three or two of you to be our Commissioners to Examined ^Evidences^ on behalf of a Certain John Fleming of the
    County af.d in Relation to the bounds of a tract of Land Called Minshalls adventure Lying in
    parahawkin Neck we therefore Require you or any three or two of you at some time and place
    as to you or any three or two of you shall seem Convenient you meet on the af.d Land Called
    Minshalls adventure (you first Having taken you oaths on the holy evangelist of almighty
    God according to act of assembly in such case made and provided) and there Cause to come before
    you or any three or two of you all such evidences as shall be to you or any three or two of you
    nominated by the said Complainent or Def.t if any and that you or any three or two of you Examine
    them upon their Corporall oaths to be by you or any three or two of you administred on the
    Holy evangelist of almighty God in the ^presents of the^ Complainent or Def.t if any touching the truth or Remembrance
    of their knowledge or anything that may relate to the Cause af.d and that Reducing the
    severall depositions into writing you send the same together with this our Comission under your or  
    any three or two of your hands and seals to us to our County Court of Somerset with all Convenient speed
    Wittness Robert King Gen.t Chief Justice of our said Court the 27.th day of November in the 21.th Year of
    our Dominion &c Anno Dom 1735           On the foregoing Commission it was Endorsed as followeth vizt
    January y.e 16.th 1735 before me came Mr Francis Allen Mr John Lane and M.r John Sheldon within
    mentioned and was duely qualified to Execute the within Commission according to the directions of an
    Act of assembly in that case made and provided wittness my hand day and year above written

The Execution of this Commission appears in Certain depositions to the same Annexed so aswers      Francis
Allen John Lane and John Sheldon      Somerset County sst   Depositions of Wittness Taken upon
a Certain tract of land Called Minshall adventure lying in parahawkin Neck in Somerset County by
vertue of a Comission from the Worshipfull the Justices of Somerset County to us directed this ninth day
of February Anno Dom 1735/6
