and nine pence half penny to the said Robert altho the same to
do the said Willm by the said Robert on the af.d twenty second day of
Aprill in the year af.d and often afterwards at Somerset County afores.d
he was thereunto requested hath not paid or Contented but the same to
him hitherto to pay or in any sort for the same to Content hath refused
and still doth refuse and deny to the damage of the said Robert of
twelve pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and thereupon he brings suit &a

  Somerset County ss.t  Personally appeared before
me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices
for Somerset County the above named Robert Bolton
and made Oath on the Holy evangelist of almighty
God that the above acco.t is and true as it standeth
stated in his book of accounts duely proven by
William Stanton his then Bookkeeper and since
that time he hath not received any part or parcel
thereof nor any Satisfaction or Security for
the Same to the best of his Knowledge

                                                                      Sworn before me this 18.th day of decem 1734

Whereupon the said William Wye present here in Court in his proper person is by the
same Court adjudged to give Special bail to the action aforesaid   thereupon a Certain Joseph
Macclester late of Somerset County Gent Came hereinto Court in his proper person and undertook
for the said William Wye and assumed upon himselfe (Likewise the said William Wye assumed
upon himselfe) that if in Case the said Robert Bolton should recover Judgment in the plea afd
against the said William Wye or that the said William Wye should be therein Convicted that then
he the said William Wye should pay the Condemnation of the Court thereupon or Render his body
in Execution of Such ^Judgmt^ to the prison of the Sheriff of Somerset County in satisfaction thereof or that
he the said Joseph Macclester will do the Same for him &a

    Whereupon the afd William Wye in his Own proper person Cometh and defendeth the
                                                                                                                               force
