 Somerset County ss.t  John Crapper late of Somerset County planter
was attached to answer unto Wrixham Crapper of a plea of trespass
upon the Case &c
And whereupon the said Wrixham by Francis Allen his attorney Complains that
whereas the said John the twenty fourth day of march Anno Dom seventeen hundred and thirty
five at y.e County of Somerset aforesaid within the Jur of this Court was Indebted unto the
said Wrixham in three pounds five shillings Curr.t money of Maryland for one Perriangue
by the said Wrixham to the said John at the Special Instance and request of the said John
then and there Sold and Delivered and being to thereof Indebted the said John in Contideration
thereof upon himself did assume and to the said Wrixham then and there did faithfully
promise that he the said John the said three pounds Five Shillings to the said Wrixham
when he should be thereunto requested he would well and faithfully pay and Content  Nevertheless
the said John his promise and assumption afd in form afd made nothing regarding but plotting and
fraudulently Intending the said Wrixham in that part Craftily and Subtilly to deceive and defraud
the said three pounds five Shillings to the said Wrixham altho' by the said Wrixham on the afd
twenty fourth day of March in the Year afd and often afterwards he was thereunto requested hath
not paid or Contented but the Same to him hitherto to pay or Content hath refused and Still doth
refuse and deny whereupon he Saith that he is worse and hath damage to the Value of six
pounds Curr.t money of Maryland and thereupon he brings Suite &c

    And the afd John Crapper in his own proper person Comes and defends the force and
Injury when &c and prays Leave thereof to Imparle and he hath it and the Same day is Given
to the afd Wrixham here also &c

       Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth day of June Anno Dom One thousand Seven
hundred & thirty Six Came againe as well the afd Wrixham Crapper by his attorney afd as the said
John Crapper in his proper person and Whereupon the said John prays further Leave thereof
to Imparle and he hath it and the same day is Given to the afd Wrixham here also &c

       Att which said next Court to witt the Seventeenth day of August ann Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and thirty ^six^ Came againe as well the afd Wrixham Crapper ^by his attorney afd^ as the
afd John Crapper in his proper person and whereupon the said John Crapper prays further
Leave thereof to Imparle and he hath it and the same day is Given to the afd Wrixham
here also &c

       Att which said next Court to witt the Sixteenth day of November anno Dom One thousand
Seven hundred and thirty Six Came again the said Wrixham Crapper by his attorney
