278 the Court and all Costs accrewing thereon to the said Charles Ramsey or that he the said Robert Mccfarling Jenckins Henry will do it for him &c Whereupon the said Charles Ramsey by George Douglas his attorney Cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &c and prays Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill the next Court and he hath it and the Same day is given to the afd Robert Mccfarling here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the Sixteenth day of March Anno Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty five Came againe as well the afd Robert Mccfarling as the afd Charles Ramsey by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said Charles prays further Leave thereof to Imparle hereuntill next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Rob.t here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the fifteenth day of June Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty six Came againe as well the afd Robert M.ccfarling as the afd Charles Ramsey by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said Charles prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Robert here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the seventeenth day of Aug.t Anno Dom One thousand seven hundred and thirty six Came again as well the afd Robert M.ccfarling as the afd Charles Ramsey by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said Charles prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court and he hath it and the same day is given to the afd Robert here also &c Att which said next Court to witt the sixteenth day of November Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty six Came again as well the afd Robert M.ccfarling as the afd Charles Ramsey by their attorneys afd and whereupon the said Charles Ramsey as before defends the force and Injury when &c and says the [illegible] not assume upon himselfe in manner and form as the said Robt King above [illegible] Arthur him hath Complained and of this he putts himselfe upon the Country and the afd Robt to wit Mackfarling in Like manner Thereupon It is Commanded the Sheriff of Somerset County that Immediately he ^should^ Cause to Come here before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset now Sitting at dividing Creek in the same County twelve &c by whom &c and who neither &c to recognize &c because as well &c and afterwards ^Immediately^ Came thereof the Jury &c and the Jurors of that Same Jury by Joseph MccClester Gent sheriff of the County afd to this Impannelled being Called Came to witt David Polk Thomas Laws Benjamin Tull Thomas Winder John Perkins James Houston John Roach Will.m Kitchen Willm Porter Huett |
