182 same to him to pay have refused and Each of them have refused and Still doe refuse altho thereto afterwards the said George in his Lifetime to witt the day and year first Mentioned at the County afd and the said Elisabeth while she was Sole and after the death of the said George afterwards to wit on the first day of may Anno Dom Seventeen hundred and thirty four at the County af.d and the said Richard and Elisabeth since espousals between them celebrated afterwards to witt on the first day November Anno Dom Seventeen hundred and thirty five and often Since that time by the said Samuel were Severally required Whereupon the said Samuel says he is Damnify'd thirty pounds Currant money of Maryland and thereof he brings Suit &.c pledges &.a Jno Doe R Roe
February 1735/6 one of his Lordships Justices of the peace Jno Smith A Copy of the foregoing declaration and account were made and sent to be served on the defts with the writt afd according to act of assembly in such Case made and provided Att which said third tuesday of march to witt the sixteenth day of the same month anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirty five being the day of the Return of the said Writt Cometh the said Samuel Beckley by his attorney afd and the Sheriff of Somerset County to whom the foregoing writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return thereof to the Court here Endorsed in these words Cepi Corpora declaration delivered in time p Joseph MccClester sher Whereupon the afd Richard Ellison and Elizabeth his wife by Robert Jenckins Henry their attorney Cometh and defendeth the force and Injury when &a and the afd Samuel prays that the said Richard and Elizabeth |
