76 before the Justices thereof were adjudged for her damages which she had by Occasion of a Certain promise and assumption by the Same James to the afd John in his Life time made and not performed and the same tobacco he have before the Justices of his said Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of August then next to satisfie the afd Sarah of her damages afd whereof he was Convict And whereupon it was Considered that the afd Sarah have thereof her Execution against the afd Jam.s of the damages afd Att which said third tuesday of August to witt the twenty first day of the Same month Ann.o Dom One thousand Seven hundred and thirty three Came the Said Sarah Stewart by Francis Allen her attorney and the sher of Somerset County to witt Joshua Caldwell sher at the same day Returned that he had made of the goods and Chattells of the afd James Shirley to the Value of Eight hundred pounds of tobacco and nine pounds three shillings and four pence Currant money of Maryland as appears by a shedule to this writt annexed august the 3.d day 1733 a shedule of the goods of James Shirley Late of Somerset County One Perry Oreger and tacklin taken by Vertue of a fire facias & valued to Eight Hundred pounds of tobacco 2 Cows & Calves @ 1000 pence a Bay hors at £5 Somed & Sworn according to Law our hands and Names are hereunto annexed Francis Porter Wm Whittington Em Hough David Murray The Court adjourns untill the third Tuesday of November next Anno Dom 1733 |
