162 to M.rs Woollfords into the Said Gutt which the family Called the Great pasture Gutt and the people was ordered to go to the great pasture Gutt with a horse for the beefe and the next Morning they ordered a Carr and a Caske and brought up oysters Mr Worthington had the Oysters of this deponant he the Said Worthington Lived at Mrs Woollfordfs and further Saith not John Miller P plft 7.br 21.st 1731 John Laws ^aged^ fifty six years the ninth day of february next being sworn Saith that on Happy addition about twenty Eight Years past as he thinks he was Imployed in building of the Chapple in Capell kings neck and many times he walked over a large Gutt that Runs up by the plantation that now belongs to John Woollford and he always Observed that ^to be^ they Called Woollfords Gutt and as he walked from George Bozmans he Used to Go through the Great pasture this deponant being asked what the Gutt was Called that Run up by Levin Woollfords plantation his answer that Gutt was Called Levins Gutt and further Saith not John Laws met according adjournment march ye 1.st 1731/2 John Tunstall aged fifty One Years or thereabout being Sworn on the holy Evangelist of Almighty God saith that about twenty nine Years agoe Samuel Worthington bought a hh.d of Rum of M.r Wilson (who had the Management of Capt Woodsides business) and that ^he^ this deponant brought the hh.d of Rum to a Landing on the River and that he was told that they had better a brought it to the Great pasture Gutt Coll Roger Woollford was then at his mothers and this deponanant apprehended that that Gutt was the Gutt that Run next to M.rs Woollfords house for the best Landing and this deponant further Saith that Daniel Burgan told him that he went often to se his Shipmate one Anthony Smith a weaver who was a servant to Mrs Woollford and they went often a fishing in the Great pasture Gutt a gutt that Runs up by the hous where Mr Woollford did then Live and further this deponant saith not John Tunstall Do day Lazarus Maddox aged forty one years the Elizabeth day of September Next being Sworn in form saith that he has heard his wife the Relict of Mr Woolfford say she did not believe the tree which Roger Woollford marked was the division between Levin Woollford and Roger Woollford and he further Saith Mr John Jones was in England when the tree was Marked that James Woollford Swore to and further Saith not Lazarus Maddux The serverall depossions were taken on the premisses on the Severall days Inserted after due notice given according to Law as wittness our hands this first day of march 1731/2 Thomas Dashiell Geor Dashiell Thos Browne Rob.t Jones
