1728 168 Maryland/ In Pursuance of an Act of assembly of this province Entituled an Act for ye Administration of Justice in Testamentary affairs we Whose Names are hereunder Mentioned Have Veiwed ye Land belonging to Henry Ackworth with the appurtenances According to Law & do make ye following Certificate (viz.t) One thirty foot Dwelling House with a Brick Gabell End & Chimney with a Chamber Chimney In Good repair one Catching fifteen foot Long in Good repair one thirty foot tob.o House in Bad repair one five foot Square Milk House New 996 pannells of old fence 300 apples trees but Indifferent we do not allow their Should be any More Land Cleared on the said Land & we do Vallue the Annuall rent to be four Hundred pence In testimony hereof we Sett our Hands & Seals this 16.th day of December 1728 Tho.s Humphres Jn.o Riccords Maryland/ In Pursuance of an Act of assembly of this province Entituled an act for ye Administration of Justice in Testamentary affairs we Whose names are hereunder Mentioned have veiwed ye Lands Belonging to Sam.l Ackworth with the appurtenances According to Law & do Make ye Following Certificate (vizt) one twenty foot Long Dwelling House with Hewed Loggs in Good repair 274 pannells of Good fence 111 Young apple trees Jno in Good Order we doe allow ye Gardian to Clear more land to raise the Annuall rent which is 250 pence In Testimony hereof we have Sett our hands & seals this 16.th Day of December 1728 Tho.s Humphris Jn.o Riccords On the Backside of ye foregoing Instrum.t of Writing it was thus Endorsed vizt In Pursuance to an Act of assembly of yt province now in force Intituled an Act for ye Administration of Justice in testamentary affairs &.a I ye Subscribers one of his Lordships Justices of ye peace for the Co.ty of Somrsett did Qualiffie ye within Name Thomas Humphris & Jno records to Enquire into & value the Lands & tenem.ts of ye within Named Henry & Sam.l Ackworth as by ye Same Act I am required as Wittness my Hand this Sixteenth day of Decem.r anno Dom 1728 John Handy
to be paid ye Said Mary Jn.o & Rhoda Turvill their Ex.rs adm.rs or assignes to ye which Payment well & truly to be made we bind us & Every of us Our & Every of our heirs Ex.rs and adm.rs Joyntly & Severally in & for ye whole firmly by these Psents Sealed with our seals & Dated ye 22d day of aprill Ann.o Dom 1729 The Condition of ye above Obligation is Such yt Whereas ye Comissary's Generall hath transmitted into ye Co.t ye Acc.t of ye Estate of Jno Turvill dec.d wherein it is found that there is Ball Due to the abovesaid Orphans the Sum of Sixty Seven pounds Eleven Shills & two pence If therefore the Said Martin Kennitt Abraham Smith (and) |
