by the Court here of his assent adjudged and the afd defend.t in mercy &a   And afterwards
to witt the twenty first day of march ^one thousand seven hundred & twenty six^ the afd Dennis Folio in his proper person present
here in Court is at the Prayer of the Plfts attorney afd Committed into the Custody of the
Sherr of Somersett County afd there to remain untill the afd John of his debt and damages
afd be thereof fully satisfied &.a the said Sherr to Witt Francis Allen Gent present here
in Court took Charge of the afd Dennis Folio accordingly &c

Rob.t Truman Late of Somrsett Coty Milwright ^als Dict Robert Truman of Somersett County & province of Maryland^ & if he should be found
in his Bailywick & him should safe Keep so yt he might have his

          Body before ye Justices of his Lordships Co.ty Court of Somrsett to be held at Dividing
Creek ye third tuesday of March then Next to answer unto Jn.o Donelson of a plea yt he
render unto him thirty pd.s Curr.t silver money of america which to him he owes
& unjustly Detaines &a      & that thereof he Should not fail &a

          And the afd Jno Donelson in his own proper Person Declared against ye afd
Robt Truman in ye plea afd as followeth vizt

Somrsett fs   Rob.t Truman Late of Somrsett County Milwright al.s Dict.s Rob.t Truman
             of Somrsett Co.ty & province of Maryland was Sumoned to answer unto Jno Donelson
             of a plea yt he render unto him ye full & Just Sum of thirty pd.s Currt Silver money
             of america which to him he owes & unjustly Detaines &a

And whereupon ye same Jn.o in his own proper person saith yt whereas ye afd Rob.t ye fourth
day of Janry Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred & twenty six at Somrsett County
afd within the Jur of this Court by his Certain Writing Obligatory which ye same
Jn.o with ye seal of ye afd Rob.t sealed hereinto Court Brings whose sate is ye same day
& year acknowledged himselfe held & firmly Bound to the afd Jno in ye afd thirty
pd.s Curr.t Silver money of america to be paid unto ye afd Jn.o when afterwards he
should be thereunto required yett ye afd Rob.t altho' often thereunto required
ye afd thirty pd.s Curr.t money to ye afd Jn.o hath not paid but ye same to him hitherto to
pay hath Denyed & Still doth Deny whereupon ye same Jn.o Saith yt he is Deteriorated
& hath Dam to the value of forty pd.s Like money & thereof Brings Suite &c
and Brings hereinto ye Writing obligatory afd which ye Debt afd doth testifie whose
Date is ye Same Day & year abovesaid &c    J Donelson P Pson pledges &a J Doe R.d Roe

       A Copy of ye foregoing Decl.n was made & sent to be served on ye afd Rob.t Truman
with ye Writt in ye plea afd &a                             Att which said third tuesday of March
to witt ye twenty first day of ye same Month Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and
twenty Six Being the day of ye return of ye said Writt Cometh ye afd Jn.o Donelson in his
own proper person & the Sher of Somrsett County to whome the foregoing Writt was
Directed Likewise Cometh & Maketh return thereof to ye Court here Endorsed
these words following vizt      Cepi Corpus Decl.n Delivered in time p me Francis Allen Sher
