    August Court                  1723                   93
and the sherr of Somersett County to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Likewise Cometh and maketh return thereof
to the Court here Endorsed in these words following viz.t  By vertue of the within Writt to me directed to the Justices
within Mentioned I Certifie that I have attached as the goods and Chattles rights and Creditts of the within Named
anthony More in the hands of Patrick Daley five hundred pence and in the hands of George Dasheil two thousand
four hundred pounds of tobacco and further I Certifie that I have Given Notice unto the said Patrick Daley
and George Dashiell that they be and appear before the Justices within Mentioned at the time & Place within
Contained to shew Cause if any they have why the same should not be Condemned in their hands to satisfie
unto the Within Named Thomas Dashiell his damages and Costs against him recovered &c Before John Doe
and Richard Roe good and Lawfull men of my Bailiwick as by the within Writt I am Commanded so answers

    Whereupon the afd George Dashiell Garnishee of the afd Anthony More appears in his Own proper
person appears and says that he Cannot gainsay but that he has of the rights and Creditts of the Said Anthony
More to the value of five hundred pounds of tobacco Nor but that the same Ought to be Condemned in his
hands for the Use of the said Thomas Dashiell as of the rights and Creditts of the said Anthony More which the
said Plft does not gainsay
                                                                   But the said Patrick Daley Garnishee as afd altho' solemnly
Called Comes not nor shews Cause why &c but makes default whereby the said Plft remains thereof wholly undefended
&c          Whereupon the said Thomas Dashiell by his attorney prays ^that the sums afd^ so as afd Confesed and attached
in the hands of the said George Dashiell and Patrick Daley as of the rights and Creditts of the said Anthony
More may be Condemned in the hands of the said George Dashiell and Patrick Daley towards satisfying
unto the said Thomas Dashiell as well the sume of two thousand four hundred pounds of tobo as also the
Costs accrueing upon this our writt of attachmt &c
                                                                        Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here the same day and year
Last mentioned that the said sume of five hundred pence so as afd attached in the hands of the said Patrick
Daley may be Condemned in his hands as of the rights and Creditts of the said Anthony More towards satisfying
unto the said Thomas Dashiell as well the sume of two thousand four hundred pounds of tobacco as also the
Costs accrueing upon the writt of attachm.t afd and that the said Thomas Dasheill have his Execution thereof
against the said Patrick Daley according to act of assembly &c

A Letter from the Perogative Office directed to the Justices of this Court was here produced as follows in these
words viz.t   Gentlemen
                                        Inclosed are the Ballances of your County for the Security whereof wee refer
