23 words Maryland ss.t Charles absolute Lord and Proprietarie of the Provinces of maryland and avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &.c To the Sherr of Sommersett County greeting Wee Command you that you attach any the goods Chattles rights or Creditts of Timothy Bloodworth Late of Stepney Parish in the County of Somrsett merch.t al dict Timothy Bloodwoth if any shall be found in your Baliwick to the value of seventy two pounds twelve Shillings debt and Interest and One thousand pounds of tobo Costs of Suite and when you have the same attached or any Part thereof the same in your Custody Safe Keep so that you have the same Before the Justices of Our County Court to be held at dividing Creek the third tuesday of march next then and there to be Condemned according to act of assembly to and for the Use of a Certain Patrick Simpson unless the said Timothy Bloodwoorth by himselfe or Lawfull attorney shall Appear and answer unto the said Patrick Simpson of a plea that he render unto him One hundred thirty four pounds thirteen shillings Curr.t money which to him he Owes and unjustly detains &.c according to Law and that by good and Lawfull men of your Baliwick you make Known unto the Person or persons in whose hands you made the same attachm.t that he she or they be and appear before the Justices of Our Said County Court to be held as afd to shew Cause if any they have why the same good Chattles rights and Creditts so attached in his her or their hands Ought not to be Condemned according to Law if to him her or them it shall seem meett and how you shall Execute this writt that you make Known to the Justices of Our Said Court at the day and place afd and have you then and there this Writt Wittness Charles Ballard Gent Chief Justice of Our Said Court this twenty third day of November in the Seventh Year of Our Dominion &.c Ann Dom 1722 (Allen) Alexander Hall Clk Att which said third tuesday of march to witt the Nineteenth day of the same month ann Dom One thousand seven hundred and twenty two Being the day of the return of the said Writt Comes the Said Patrick Simpson by his attorney afd and the sherr of Sommersett County to whom the foregoeing writt was directed Likewise Comes and makes return of thereof to ye Court here Endorst in these words vizt By Vertue of the within Writt to me directed to ye Justices within mentioned I Certifie that I have attached in the hands of the Severall persons in a Schedule to this Writt annext Mentioned the severall goods and sums of mony to their Severall Names Severally annexed as the goods and Chattles rights and Creditts of the within Named Timothy Bloodworth and I have also before John Doe and Richard Roe good and Lawfull men of my Baliwick made Known unto the Severall Persons in the said Schedule named that they be and appear before the Justices within mentioned at the time and Place with in Mentioned to Shew Cause if any they have why the same goods and sums of mony to their Severall Names annexed in their hands severally attached should not be Condemned for the use of the Within Names Patrick Simpson as by the within writt I am Commanded so answers Jos: McChester Sherr An accot of goods attached in the hands of Majr Charles Ballard vizt
