       I Rachel Mason free negres of Caroline County state of Maryland having deposited
with the Clerk a written Statement of My intention of leaving this State ot go to Philadelphia
for the purpose of seeing my Cozens it is my intention to return here again within
thirty days from this date         Given under my hand this seventeenth day of may 1843
