   356                                November Court 1719
   Peter Merey and William Jones both of Kent County Planters here
   present in Court Acknowledges themselves indebted to his Lord Ship his
   heirs and Successors in the Sume of Seven pounds tenn Shills Sterlg
   Each to be Leveyed on their goods and Chattells Lands and Tenements
   Conditionally that if the afd Elizabeth Merey Shall not make her
   personall appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County and
   then and there to Answer unto what Shall be objected against her on
   his Lord Ships behalf on Suspicion of Committing adultery with a
   certain George Gleaves and in the mean time She is to be of good
   behaviour where with the Said Peter Merey and William Jones
   acknowledges themselves Content
    ordered by the Court here that George Gleaves enter into
   recognizance for his apce to next Court &ca. with Surtys
      George Gleaves of Kent County Planter here present in his proper
   person in Court to wit the 20th day Novbr Anno Domi 1719 And Acknowledges
   himselfe indebted to his Lord Ship his heirs and Successors in the
   Sume of Fifteen pounds Sterling to be Leveyed on his goods and
   Chattells Lands and Tenements Conditionally that if he do not make his
   appearance at the next Court to be held for this County and then to answr
   unto what Shall be objected against on his Lord Ships behalfe on
   Suspicion of Committing adultery with a Certain Eliza Merey and in
   the mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith he Acknowledges
   himself Content ——
   Peter Merey and George Murphett both of Kent County Planters here
   present in Court Acknowledges themselves indebted to his Lord Ship his —
   heirs and Successors in the Sume of Seven pounds tenn Shills Sterling –
   Conditionally that if the afd George Gleaves Shall not make his personall
   appearance at the next Court to be held for Said County and then and there
   to answer unto what Shall be objected agst him on his Lord Ships behalfe
   on Suspicion of adultery as afd with a Certain Elizabeth Merey and in the
   mean time he is to be of good behaviour wherewith the Said Peter
   Merey and George Murphett Acknowledges themselves Content
   ordered by the Court here That Sums Issue for the folls Evides returnable
   to the next Court to Evide for his Ld Ship at George Gleaves to wit John Walls
   John Hudson John Cole Philp Hudson and Richd Hudson
   ordered by the Court here that Sums Issue for the follg Evides returnable to the
   next Court to Evide for his Ld Ship at Elizabeth Merey to wit John Walls John
