August Court 1718 103 into Court and being Sworn on the Holy Evangelists Saith that he did See the afd Elizabeth Ball Signe Seale & deliver the Same Power of Attry to and for the uses therein Contained and also Saith that he did See Joseph Milby as an Evidence to the Same Signe at the Same time Mr. William Ringgold afd by vertue of the afd Power of Attry comes into Court and Acknowledges the Land in the Same mentioned [illegible] her behalfe to the afd Mr Robert Dunn
Patrick Clarke afd his Recognizance taken in the Sum of Tenn pounds Sterlg. to be Leveyed &ca. Conditionally that if he did not appeare as afd and to Answer unto what Should be objected against him on his Lord Ships behalfe and in the meantime to be of good behaviour and Especially to a Certain John Glory And now at this Court no person coming in to Shew any cause why the Same Recognizance Should not be discharged This Court here discharges the Same Edward Beck and Robert Maxfield Enterd into Recognizance in the Sume of five pounds Sterling Each Suretys for the afd Patrick Clarke Conditionally that if the afd Patrick Clarke Should not appear and Answer as afd and in the mean time to be of good behaviour as afd This Court here discharges the Same Recognizances Each of them and the afd John Glory comes into Court and Saith that he doth not require any further Surety Mr Thomas Medford of this County having made a Power of Attry as also Rachel his wife Joynd in the Same for to Make over a Tract of Land in St. Marys County to a Certain John Taylor . known by the name of Froggs March . Mr. Abraham Redgrave an Evidence to Same being Sworn Saith that he did See the afd Thomas Medford and Rachel his wife Signe Seale & deliver the Same to and for the uses therein Contained Mr. Mathew Piner of this County brings a Negro Girl to have her age adjudged the Same is Called Jenny on view of Same It is Considered by the Court here vizt. this Twentieth day of August Annoq Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and Eighteen That the afd Negro Girl is thirteen years old JamsSmith Clk |
