after the respective periods herein after mentioned the
following negroes that is to say mulatto ned now
aged thirty six years to be free at the end of seven years
from the date hereof mulatto Robert now aged twenty
three years to be free at the end of seventeen years from
the date hereof mulatto Bill now aged sixteen years
to be free at the end of twenty four years from the date
hereof mulatto Bill aged thirty three years to be free
at the end of seven years from the date hereof mulatto
Poll now aged twenty one years to be free at the end
of fifteen years from the date hereof mulatto Harriot
now aged thirteen years to be free at the end of twenty
three years from the date hereof negro Ruth now
aged fifteen years to be free at the end of twenty one
years from the date hereof  And it is hereby declared
that as to any issue the said Females may have
during their time of servitude such issue shall be
free at the age of twenty five years   In Testimony
whereof we hereto se our hands & seals the thirty
first day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen
hundred and seventeen           Michael Dorsey   (seal)

    On the back of the aforegoing deed was thus written
to wit
       Maryland Ann Arundel County to wit:  On the
third day of November in the year Eighteen hundred
and seventeen personally appeared before the
subscriber Associate Judge of the third Judicial district
of maryland the within named Michael Dorsey, Oner
