I hereby certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a woman called Lucy
twenty seven years old five feet six inches high
of a dark complexion has a scar on the right rist
& a large thumb on right hand is a free woman
freedom commenced the 12th October 1809 raised
in the afs.d county
Issued the 14 Octo.r 1809


I hereby certify that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a negro man called Dick
five feet five & an half inches
high twenty five years old dark complexion
has a scar the right cheek is
a free man said negro Dicks
freedom commenced in 1804 & was raised
in the afore.d county
Issued the 18 Octo.r 1809


Maryland ann arundel county to wit  I hereby certify
that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a bright mulatto woman named Jenny
thirty five years old five feet five inches high has no perceivable
mark or scar is a free woman her freedom took place in 1804
Jenny was raised in Baltimore county
       Issued the 15 november 1809
