    State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc
             I hereby Certify that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a Negroe
Man named James Drummer five feet five
inches high about twenty five years of age
dark Complexion has no Scars on his face
that is perceivable is a free man said James
Drummer freedom Commenced on the seventh
day of September Eighteen hundred and four
and was raised in Anne Arundel County
                Issued the 23d of November 1809


a negro man called George forty six years old five
feet nine inches high dark complexion two scars
on the forehead is a free man his freedom took place on
the 25th Dec.r 1790 & was raised in ann arundel county
       Issued the 23d november 1809


I Hereby Certify that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
a man called Vachel Bash about forty
years old five feet seven inches high of a
dark Complexion has lost one of his
upper fore teeth & has a large knot on
the under part of the right ear is a free
man said Vachel Bash was free born and
raised in Anne Arundel County aforesaid
                Issued the 28th of Nov.r 1809
