manumitted and discharged from all manner of
servitude or service to me my heirs executors or
administrators forever after the expiration of the
time above mentioned.  In Testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my
seal this twenty first day of May in the year of
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit:
Anne Arundel County Sc.t  On the twenty first day
of May 1816 personally appeared Leonard Scott
before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace
for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the
aforegoing deed of manumission to be his act
and deed according to the true intent and
meaning thereof and agreeably to the acts of
assembly in such cases made and provided

Be it Know that I Elizabeth Lloyd of the City
of Annapolis in the County of Anne Arundel
and State of Maryland for divers good causes and
considerations me hereunto moving as also in
further consideration of the sum of three hundred
dollars current money to me in hand paid have
released from slavery liberated manumitted
