William Rebecca Elennor Hanah Mariah Thomas Jerome Fany Rebecca Mariah Henny Flora Elizabeth William Jane and Hanah henceforth to be manumitted and free from slavery Ex.d d.d Nicholas Watkins (of Tho.s) ch.d 5 Recorded the 19.th day of March 1814 Maryland sc. To all whom these presents shall come I Isaac Simmons of Anne Arundel Co.t for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving declare manumit liberate and enfranchize the following negroes to wit: Murrier aged about nine years to be free on the twenty fifth day of December eighteen hundred and thirty two and Eliza aged about six years to be free on the twenty fifth day of December eighteen hundred and thirty two And in case the aforesaid negroes Murrier and Eliza should have any children during their servitude I declare them and their childrens Children to the latest generation to be free viz males at the age of twenty five and females at the age of twenty one all of the above mentioned negroes and their increase to be free at the limited time as specified above from me my heirs executors and administrators in the manner and form above mentioned viz Murrier on the twenty fifth day of December eighteen hundred and thirty two and Eliza on the |
