5 William Weems to Sundry Negroes bearing date the fifteenth day of December seventeen hundred & eighty nine & recorded amongst the records of Ann Arundel County Court that Negro Frank Aged about thirty four years at this time was to be free on the first day of January eighteen hundred and three that he is about five feet eight Inches high his Complexion black was raised on herring bay in the County aforesaid William Whittington of said County made Oath before Gideon White a Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid that the said Negro Frank is the identical person mentioned in the said Deed of manumission Issued the 30 day of May 1806 State of Maryland Ann Arundel County sct I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Ann Arundel County Do hereby Certify that it appears by a Deed of Manumission from Isaac Hanson to Negro Sarah Hanson bearing date this twenty seventh day of June in the year one thousand eight hundred & six and Recorded amongst the records of Ann Arundel County Court that the said negro Sarah Hanson is about thirty six years of Age at this time is to be free from the date of the Manumission that she is about five feet high her Complexion black was raised on Severn River in Ann Arundel County Benjamin Sewell of said County made Oath before John Brice a Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid that the said Negro Sarah Hanson is the identical person mentioned in the said Deed of manumission Issued 27 June 1808 |
