State of Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit
                   I Hereby Certify To all whom it doth or
may Concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof Negro Jason
aged Eighteen years height five feet six inches
Complexion black is a free man & that the
said Negro Jason was raised in the City of
Annapolis Anne Arundel County Maryland
has a scar on his left arm occasioned by
a burn
                Iss.d the 22d of July 1807

          I Hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may
Concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof James Brogden aged
twenty three years height five feet eight inches
his Complexion black is a free Man and that
the said Negro James Brogden was raised in Anne
Arundel County maryland and has a scar
on the back part of his head behind his left
ear
             Iss.d the 24th of July 1807
