174 or to any claiming under her and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such cases made and provided acknowledged before Lewis Duvall Recorded 23.rd February 1804 Exd I Rezin Hammond of the City of Baltimore in the State of Maryland do hereby set free from bondage my negro slaves to wit; Ned aged twenty eight years jason aged about twenty four years Moses aged about forty years Betty aged about forty Ruth aged about twenty two years Valentine aged thirty one years & Pol aged about thirty years and do for myself my executors and administrators releas unto the said negroes all my right and all claim whatsoever as to there persons or to any estate they may acquire hereby declaring the said negroes absolutely free without any interruption from me or any person claiming under me.
