Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Ann Turner aged
about twenty five years about five feet half an inch high
black Complexion has a scar on the right Jaw bone, was
free born and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 8 day of august 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Richard Richardson
aged about fifteen years about four feet one and one
half Inches high brown complexion has a small scar
near the Corner of the right eye was free born and
that he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 21 day of august 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Hester Ann Praun
aged about twenty three years about four feet Eight and
and half Inches high yellow Complexion has a scar near the
Corner of the left eye was free born and that she was raised
in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 26 day of august 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Robert Dulany
aged about twenty one years about five feet six and a
quarter inches high dark Complexion has a large scar
on the right arm occasioned by a burn was free born and
that he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 24 Augt 1843
