four feet Eleven and a half inches high dark
Complexion has no perceptible marks
is one of the persons manumitted by Benjamin
Wells by deed dated the fourth day of
May in the year one thousand Eight
hundred and twenty and that she
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 24th October 1837





Samuel Howard
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify th    I William S Green
Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof named
Samuel Howard aged about twenty two years
about five feet seven Inches high brown
Complexion has a large scar on the right
legg was free born and that he was
raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 3 day of November 1837





Nancy Queen
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              Anne Arundel County   I William S Green
Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
Certify that the bearer hereof it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Nancy Queen aged about fifty years about five
feet one and a half inches high dark complexion
has a scar on the left wrist was free born
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 3 day of November 1837

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne
