right hand was free born and that she
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 29th september 1832




Sarah Thomas
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Sarah Thomas aged about forty years
about five feet two and a quarter inches high
dark complexion, has no perceptible mark is the
identical person manumitted by Nicholas Owens
by deed of Manumission dated the twenty ninth day
of September Eighteen hundred and twenty four
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 24th day of October 1832




Pompey Williams
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do hereby Certify That it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof named Pompey Williams aged about thirty
six years about five feet six and a half Inches
high black Complexion has a small scar on the
right cheek and another on the head above the
left temple is one of the persons manumitted
by John Brice by deed dated the twenty sixth
day of august in the year one thousand Eight
hundred and thirty five and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 29th day of October 1832
