hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Abraham Thomas, aged about
five feet six inches high black complexion has a
scar near the left temple and one on the back of
the head is one of the persons manumitted by
Henry C Hobbs by deed dated the twelfth day of
April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and Eleven and that he was raised in
the County aforesaid

born and that he was raised in the County
