Samuel Williams
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Samuel Williams aged about twenty two years
about five feet nine inches high black complexion
has a small scar over the Corner of the left eye
and another on the second finger of the left hand
was free born and that he was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 28th day of may 1832




Richard Chew
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Richard Chew aged about twenty one years
about five feet nine Inches high dark
Complexion has a small scar on the back of the
right hand was free born and that he was in
the County aforesaid
    Issued the 28th day of may 1832



Barbara Matthews
     Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Barbara
Matthews aged about thirty five years about five feet
high Brown Complexion has two small scars on the nose
and another on the second finger of the left hand is one of the
persons manumitted by John Chew Thomas by deed dated
the twelfth day of February in the year of our Lord
one thousand Eight hundred and twelve and that
she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 28th day of may 1832
