95 complexion with a scar upon the right side of the head near the ear is the same person manumitted by John C Mackubin by deed dated the eleventh day of September in the year eighteen hundred and sixteen and that the said Ned Galloway was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 19th day of December 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Thomas Watkins aged about twenty two years and six months about five feet four and an half Inches high of a brown complexion with a small scar upon the nose was born free, and that the said Thomas Watkins was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 8th day of January 1817 Vide page 35 for old Certe State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named William Queen Son of Nelly Queen aged about twenty years about five feet seven and an half inches high dark complexion with two small scars on the right wrist was free born and that the said William Queen was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 11th day of March 1817 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc.
