93 been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Better aged about forty one years about five feet one and half Inches high of a dark with a small scar upon the left side of the Chin is the Identical person manumitted by Sarah Lawton by deed dated the sixth day of February in the year one thousand seven hundred and ninety five that the said woman named Better was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 9th day of Nov.r 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Thener aged about thirty five years about five feet three inches high of a dark complexion with a scar upon her chin is the same person manumitted by Stephen Boone by deed dated the seventeenth day of November one thousand eight hundred and fifteen that her freedom commenced on the seventeenth day of November eighteen hundred and sixteen and that the said negro woman Thener was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 18th day of November 1816 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Sarah Brown aged about twenty years about five feet one inch high |
