Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

    Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit:
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby certify, that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named
Rachel Rawlings aged about thirty five years about
five feet ten and an half Inches high dark complexion
has a scar over the left eye was free born, and that
she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 4th day of Oct November 1828


    Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit:
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify, that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Sally Wilson aged about sixteen years about
four feet Ten Inches high brown complexion has
a small scar or mole upon her right Cheek was free
born, and that she was raised in the county aforesaid
    Issued the 7th day of November 1828


    Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County
court do hereby certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Mary Dorsey
aged about nineteen years about four feet ten Inches high
dark complexion has a small scar near the corner of the
left eye was free born, and that she was raised in the
county aforesaid
    Issued the 20th day of November 1828


    Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit:
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County
court do hereby Certify, that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Nelly Thomas
aged about nineteen years about four feet ten Inches high
dark complexion has a small scar near the corner of the
left eye was free born, and that she was raised in the
county aforesaid
    Issued the 27th day of November 1828
