Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

Gaither aged about thirty one years about five feet
six and an half Inches high yellow Complexion
has no perceptible mark was free born, and that
he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of October 1827


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:    I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Rachel Gaither aged
about fifty years about five feet two and an half
Inches high dark Complexion, has a scar upon the
chin was free born, and that she was raised in
the County aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of October 1827


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:   I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Richard Gaither aged
about Thirty five years about five feet nine Inches
high dark Complexion has a scar upon the left
side of the neck was free born, and that he
was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of October 1827


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit   I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby
certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named William Turner aged
about twenty seven years about five feet four and a
quarter Inches high dark Complexion, has a scar on the
right arm was free born, and that he was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 13th day of November 1827
