in the County aforesaid
          Issued the 22d day of September 1827

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court, Do hereby Certify, that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Polly Davis aged about
twenty six years about five feet four and
an half Inches high brown Complexion has
no perceptible mark is one of the persons
manumitted by Philip I Thomas by deed
dated the seventeenth day of December in the
year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred
and Eight, and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 22d day of September 1827


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court Do hereby Certify, that it hath been
proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Betsy aged about twenty six years about
five feet four and an half Inches high brown
Complexion, has a small mole near the Corner of the
left eye is the Identical person manumitted by
John Henry maccubbin by deed dated the twenty
fifth day of September in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred and twenty seven and
that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 28th day of September 1827
