arm and another on the left knee is one of the persons manumitted by Margaret Hopkins by deed dated the twentieth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and thirteen, and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 24th day of August 1827 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court, Do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Samuel Queen aged about twenty six years about five feet nine and an half Inches high black Complexion has several small scars in the forehead was free born, and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 25 day of August 1827 Proved to have been burnt Ren.d 16 Feby 1832 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I William S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court, Do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Billy [illegible] aged about forty one years about four feet Ten and an half Inches high, Brown Complexion, has no perceptible mark is the Identical person manumitted by Wm L [illegible] of Frederick by deed dated the twenty fifth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and sixteen and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 29th day of August 1827 |
