Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

bearer hereof named Henrietta Carroll aged about
seventeen years about five feet three Inches high
bright Complexion no perceptible mark was free
born and raised in the County aforesaid
          In Testimony whereof I hereto set my name
and affix the seal of Anne Arundel County Court
this ninth day of march in the year of our Lord one
thousand Eight hundred and twenty seven
    Issued the 9.th march 1827


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named William Court aged
about forty years about six feet one Inch high yellow
Complexion a scar on the left arm & a small lump
in the palm of the right hand is one of the persons
manumitted by Joseph Court by deed dated the
twentieth day of February eighteen hundred and two
and raised in the County aforesaid
Issued the 10th day of March 1827


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof named Sarah Kent aged about
thirty years about five feet two Inches high black
complexion a small scar on the left cheek and an
other on the right arm was free born and raised in
the County aforesaid
Issued the 10th day of March 1827
