or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Stephen Watkins aged about thirty six years about five feet six Inches high yellow Complexion a small scar in the forehead and long hair is one of the persons manumitted by Lucy Harwood by deed dated the seventeenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty three, that his freedom Commenced on the first day of January Eighteen hundred and twenty six and that he was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 28th day of November 1826 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Polly Matthews aged about nineteen years about five feet two Inches high bright Complexion has a small scar on the forehead was free born, and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 12th day of December 1826 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Nelly Matthews aged about forty two years about five feet high brown Complexion has a small scar near the corner |
