by Martha P Childs by deed dated the fifteenth
day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand
Eight hundred and twenty two that her freedom
Commenced on the first day of January Eighteen
hundred and twenty three, and that he was
raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 9th day of November 1826


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may Concern that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
named Vachel aged about Twenty three
years about five feet five Inches high
yellow Complexion, has a scar on his
breast is one of the persons manumitted
by Rachel Snowden by deed dated the
twentieth day of November Eighteen hundred
and thirteen, and that he was raised in
the County aforesaid
    Issued the 14th day of november 1826


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit
              I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Dick
Matthews aged about Twenty three years about
five feet two Inches high black Complexion a
scar upon the left Instep is one of the persons
manumitted by Rachel Snowden by deed dated
the Eighteenth day twentieth day of november
Eighteen hundred and thirteen, and that
