16 of a light complexion, with a scar upon the breast and ruptured is the same person named in a deed of manumission Executed by Sarah Hopkins on the twelfth day of September in the year one thousand Eight hundred and Eleven and that the said negro man named Isaac was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 16th day of September 1811 Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named William Jones aged about twenty three years about five feet eleven inches high of a yellowish complexion was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued 17.th day of Sept.r 1811 Maryland Anne Arundel County sc. I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Isabella about seventeen years of age, about four feet Eleven and an half Inches high of a yellowish complexion with a scar upon the back of the right hand was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 21st day of October 1811 Maryland Anne Arundel County sc. I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Betsy Brunfoot about twenty three years of age, about five feet Eight Inches high of a yellowish complexion with a small scar upon the left side of the face was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 25th day of October 1811 |
