Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1831

Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby Certify
to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a woman named Clarisa Boston aged
about thirty five years about five feet three
Inches high yellowish Complexion with two large
scars on the right arm and one small scar in
the Corner of the right eye was free born; and
that the said woman named Clarisa Boston
was raised in the County aforesaid
        Issued the 5th day of Feby 1819


Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit  
           I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or
may concern that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Peggy
Garrett aged about nineteen years, about five feet
one and an half Inches high brown Complexion
no perceptible mark, was free born; and that the
said Peggy Garrett was raised in the County
aforesaid
        Issued the 6th day of Feby 1819


Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a negro man named John Queen aged about
twenty Eight years about five feet Eight Inches
high black Complexion was free born; and that
the said John Queen was raised in the County
aforesaid
        Issued the 9th day of February 1819
