Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a mulatto woman named Harriet
Prout aged about twenty one years about five
feet nine and an half Inches high light complexion
no perceptible mark, was free born; and that the
said Harriet Prout was raised in the County
aforesaid
        Issued the 13th day of November 1818



Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern
that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a negro man named
John aged about twenty two years about five
feet seven Inches high black Complexion a
small scar over the left eye and another on
his forehead at the roots of his hair is the
same person manumitted by Margaret Hopkins
that his freedom commenced on the first day
of January Eighteen hundred and Eighteen and
that the said negro John was raised in the
County aforesaid
        Issued the 26th day of December 1818



Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof a negro man named Thomas Chambers aged
about twenty one years about five feet five Inches
high dark Complexion no perceptible mark stout
made is the Identical person named Thomas
