111 that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Anne Scoggle aged about seventeen years about four feet Eleven Inches high, dark Complexion with a small scar upon the right arm was free born; and that the said Ann Scoggle was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 16th day of March 1818 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto woman named Hager Cook aged about forty two years about five feet two and and an half Inches high light complexion with a small scar on the right Eye brow is the same person manumitted by George Stinchcomb by deed dated the twenty first day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and Eighteen; and that the said Hagar Cook was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 20th day of March 1818 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Bet or Elizabeth aged about twenty five years about five feet high brown Complexion, no perceptible mark is the identical person manumitted by Thomas Wilson by deed dated the twenty seventh day of May seventeen hundred and ninety seven, that her freedom Commenced the first day of January Eighteen hundred and Eighteen; and that the said negro woman named Bet or Elizabeth was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 31st day of March 1818 |
