107 his face by the small 'pox' was free born, and that the said Henry Organ was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 15th day of November 1817 Vide folio 17 for Old Certe which having been proved to have been lost the above Certe granted State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Nanny aged about forty five years about five feet high black complexion no perceptible mark was free born and that the said negro woman named Nanny was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 18th day of December 1817 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof Samuel Hawkins aged about twenty three years about five feet Eight Inches high brown complexion, and a scar upon the right shoulder was free born; and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 26th day of December 1817 State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc I hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Sukey aged about twenty six years about five feet one Inch high dark complexion has two small scars upon the forehead and several small scars above the left wrist is the same person manumitted by |
