        I hereby certify that it appears from the last
will and testament of Jacob N Slemaker late of Anne
Arundel County deceased that he did by his said Will
Liberate manumit and set free a negro Girl by the
name of Caroline and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed
by said Will  I certify that she is in height five feet
two inches Light Complexion and was freed by said
will dated 11 September 1837 and that she is now
about the age of twenty one years old
                                        Issued 21 day of November 1848

        I hereby certify that it appears from the
last will and testament of Nicholas Owens of Isaac
late of Anne Arundel County decd that he did by his
said last will and testament manumit Liberate
and set free a negro Boy by the name of John Wills
and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will 
I do certify that she is in height 5 feet 5 Inch
dark complexion is about the age of thirty years
was raised in Anne Arundel County  Will dated
25 October 1825
                                            Issued 28 day Decr 1848

        I Benjamin E hereby certify and attest that it
appears from the last will and testament of James Stallings
late of Anne Arundel County deceased that he did by his said
will Liberate manumit and set free a negro man by the name
of Benjamin Brown and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said
will  I do certify that he is in height five feet nine Inches
dark Complexion and was freed by the last Will and testament
of the said James Stallings dated blank day of          Eighteen
hundred and             & admitted to probate on the 19 Decr 1848
                                                        Issued 30 day January 1849
