        I hereby certify that it appears from the last Will and
testament of Richard Gardiner of Ricd late of Anne Arundel County
deceased that he did by his said Will Liberate manumit and set free
a negro man named Nace Hall and it being proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said Will 
I do certify that he is in height five feet Six Inches dark complexion
about the age of 40 years and has a mark over the right Eye and
was freed by said Will dated 4 January 1838
                                                    Issued the 24 day of Feby 1848

        I hereby certify that it appears from the last Will and
testament of Susanna Beard late of Anne Arundel County decd
that she did by her said Will Liberate manumit and set free
a negro woman by the name of Rebecca and it being proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical
person as freed by said Will  I do certify that she is in
height five feet five & ½ Inches dark complexion about
the age of thirty one years & was freed by said Will dated
9 March 1821

        I hereby certify that it appears from the last Will
and testament of Nathaniel Chew late of Anne
Arundel County deceased that he did by his said Will
Liberate manumit and set free a negro Girl by the name
of Rachel and it being proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by
said Will  I do certify that she is in height 5 feet 2 Inc.
dark complexion and about the age of 28 years

I hereby certify that it appears from the last Will and testament
of Jeremiah T Chase late of Anne Arundel County and that
he did by his said Will Liberate manumit and set free
a negro Boy by the name of Benjamin Matthews and
it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
is the Identical person as freed by said Will  I do certify
that he is in height 5 feet 8 Inches dark complexion
and about the age of 31 years
