satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as
freed by said will  I do certify that she is in height five feet
five Inches, is about the age of nineteen years yellow complexion
and was freed by the last Will and testament of the Said Richard
Wells dated the twenty third day of June Eighteen hundred
and twenty Six was raised in Anne Arundel County and has
a scar on her Forehead
                        Issued the 12 day of June 1841

            I Samuel Brown Jn.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the
last Will and Testament of Richard Wells late of the
County aforesaid deceased that he did by his said will Manumit
Liberate and set free, a negro Girl by the name of Martha Semms
and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof
is the Identical person as freed by said will  I do certify that
she is in height five feet 3¾ Inches is about the age of
sixteen and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the
said Richard Wells dated the 23.rd June 1836 was raised
in Anne Arundel County and has no perceptible scars
                                Issued the 12 day June 1841

            I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify and attest that it appears from the
last Will and Testament of Richard Wells late of the County aforesaid
deceased that he did by his last said Will manumit Liberate
and set free, a Negro Girl by the name of Het Johnson and
it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the
Identical person as freed by said will  I do certify that she
is in height five feet three & ¾ Inches, is about the age of
Twenty five years, light complexion, and was freed by the last
will and Testament of the said Richard Wells dated the
twenty third day of June in the year Eighteen hundred and
Twenty Six was raised in Anne Arundel County and has no
perceptible scars
                                            Issued the 4 day of August 1841
                                                   Sam.l Brown Jnr Rgr Wills A A County
