                                              Samuel Brown Jun Reg Wills



            I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and
Testament of Ruth Davis late of the county aforesaid, deceased, that she
did by her said will, manumit, liberate and set free, a negro boy by
the name of Henry Pully and it being proved to my satisfaction that
the barrer hereof is the identical person as freed by said will  I do
certify that he is in height five feet six inches, is about the age of
Nineteen years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last will
and Testament of the said Ruth Davis dated the Eighteenth day of march
Eighteen hundred and twenty Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County
and has a scar under his left eye near the nose
                                            Issued the 5th day of September 1837

County do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last
will and Testament of Ruth Davis late of the County aforesaid deceased
that she did by her said will, manumit, liberate and set free, a
negro girl by the name of Eliza Ann Pully and it being proved to
my satisfaction that that the barrer hereof is the identical person as
freed by said will, I do certify that she is in height four feet
Eleven inches, is about the age of sixteen years, dark complexion,
and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Ruth
Davis dated the Eighteenth day of March Eighteen hundred
and twenty Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County and
has a slight scar on her left arm
                                    Issued the 5th day of September 1837
                                           Sam.l Brown Jun.r Reg Wills A A County

County do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last
will and Testament of Ruth Davis late of the County aforesaid deceased
that she did by her said will, manumit, liberate and set free, a
negro Girl by the name of Maria Lucas and it being proved to
my satisfaction that the barrer hereof is the identical person as freed
by said will, I do certify that she is in height five feet
inches, is about the age of twenty one years dark complexion
and was freed by the last will and Testament of the said Ruth
Davis dated the Eighteenth day of March Eighteen hundred and
Twenty Eight and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a slight
a scar on the left side of her face
                    Issued the 5th day of September 1837
