I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do
hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of
Thomas W Howard late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his
said Will manumit Liberate and set free a Negro boy by the name of
Immanuel Cooper and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that he
is in height five feet five & ½ inches is about the age of twenty three
years, light complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament
of the said Thomas W Howard dated the seventh day of January Eighteen
hundred and seventeen and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has
a slight scar across the forehead            In testimony whereof
             I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal of my office
                this 28th day of October in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred
                and thirty three

                         Issued the 28th day of October 1833

negro man by the name of Major Howard and it being proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as
freed by said Will.     I do certify that he is in height five feet nine
& ½ half inches is about the age of twenty two years, dark complexion,
and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Thomas W,
Howard dated the seventh day of January Eighteen hundred and seventeen
and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the
nose
                    Issued the 29th day of October 1833

I Samuel Brown Junior Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County
do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and
Testament of Thomas W Howard late of the County aforesaid, deceased,
that he did by his said Will manumit liberate and set free a negro
woman by the name of Delia Howard and it being proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said
Will, I do certify that she is in height five feet five four and ½ inches
is about the age of forty one years, dark complexion, and was freed
by the last Will and Testament of the said Thomas W. Howard dated
the seventh day of January Eighteen hundred and seventeen and was
raised in Anne Arundel County
                    Issued the 29th day of October 1833
