I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne
Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and Testament of Ephraim Duvall late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said will manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name of Fanny Edwards and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet & ¼ of an inch is about the age of thirty five years, brown Complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Ephraim Duvall dated the twenty fifth day of March eighteen hundred and seven and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the right elbow Issued 6.th June 1832 Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of Mary Wood late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that she did by her said Will manumit Liberate and set free a negro boy by the name of Jesse Whittington and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet nine inches is about the age of twenty Eight years, black Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Mary Wood dated the twenty Eighth day of November Eighteen hundred and thirteen and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has the end of the left thumb defective Issued the 7.th June 1832 Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and Testament of John Worthington late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set free a negro woman by the name of Grace Burton and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet two & ¼ inches is about the age of twenty Six years, very light Complexion, and was freed by the last Will and testament of the said John Worthington dated the Third day of April Eighteen hundred and Seventeen and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the breast Issued the 13.th June 1832 Thomas T. Simmons Reg.r Wills A. A. County I Thomas T. Simmons Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify and Attest that it appears from the last will and Testament of William Hammond late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said will manumit Liberate and set Free a negro man by the name of William Smith Alias Skinner and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said will, I do Certify that he is in height five feet five & ¼ inches is about the age of forty three years, Dark Complexion, and was Freed by the last will and Testament of the said William Hammond dated the twenty fourth day of March eighteen hundred and seven and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar under the left wrist Issued 20.th June 1832 Thomas T.
